I thought about what I wanted to offer up this evening. Today has felt playful, inspiring, challenging – all things that feel good at my roots. Here's a poem by Kaylin Haught that I love for it's playfulness, irreverence and affirmation.
God Says Yes To Me
I asked God if it was OK to be melodramatic
and she said yes
I asked her if it was OK to be short
and she said sure is
I asked her if I could wear nail polish
or not wear nail polish
and she said honey
she calls me that sometimes
she said you can do just exactly
what you want to
Thanks God I said
And is it okay if I don't paragraph
Sweetcakes God said
who knows where she picked that up
what I'm telling you is
Yes Yes Yes
As you fall asleep tonight, whatever your beliefs or inner landscapes, may you have that sense of someone or something saying yes to you. Perhaps that person is you.
We wish you a good night's sleep, a deep restful and rejuvenating sleep that brings clarity and energy for the exploration and planning ahead.
